How much notice is required for bookings?
24 hours advance notice is standard for bin bookings. However, if you contact us before 9am, Speedy Bins may be able to deliver a bin that same day.

How do I know what size of bin to get?
Our booking system provides measurements and general guidance on how much you can likely fit into the bin. If you’re not sure or would like to speak to a professional, please contact us on 1300 550 442 for assistance.
What is a cubic metre?
A cubic meter is measured by 1m in height x1m in width x 1m in length. Speedy’s general rule of thumb is one level box trailer is approximately 1 cubic meter.
What sizes do our bins come in?
We maintain a variety of bin sizes to be sure you have the right bin size for every occasion. We offer: 3 cubic metres, 4 cubic metres, 6 cubic metres, 8 cubic metres, 12 cubic metres and very large 15 cubic metre bins.
How do I pay for a skip bin?
Speedy Bins has a range of payment options. If you wish to pay via credit or debit card, you can do so by ordering a skip bin through our online booking system or over the phone.
If you wish to pay via cash or cheque, we can also accept these methods. Please contact our office on 1300 550 442 to discuss.
If you wish to pay via direct bank transfer, please include the invoice number as the payment reference.

How long can I hire a skip bin for?
The standard hire period for skip bins is 7 days. Pickup dates must be booked in 48 hours prior to the end of your hire period to help with our speedy service.
Can I hire a skip bin for longer than 7 days?
If you need a longer hire period, we can help! Please contact our office on 1300 550 442 to discuss extended hire pricing and terms.
To what level can I fill the skip bin?
Bins may be filled to the top rail and no higher. We cannot safely transport skip bins when it is loaded above the rails as items may fall out during transport and become projectiles. Speedy Bins drivers cannot accept the bin if the waste exceeds the bin capacity or is higher than the top rail. You will need to remove the additional items or you will be charged the cost for us to remove it.

Can I put the skip bin on the footpath?
Yes, however, it is important that the bin does not block pedestrian access. Some Councils may require a permit. These can be arranged by Speedy Bins when requested.
What can’t I place in the skip bin?
Asbestos, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, chemicals or any form of hazardous materials or liquids such as paints, thinners, oils etc.
