Unfortunately , terrible service like faulty towers . Was sent wrong details , inconsistent messaging , lacked follow up . Sent personal and Private information of another client , breaching private data . When asked go back to complete the job to satisfaction met with default opposition. . When trying to support a small family owned business and then when given feedback , hung up on . Shame on you Speedy . . No accountability and apology – if you want service – don’t go here . You’ll be disappointed and then humiliated and told you were in the wrong and dare be frustrated – you are met with it’s you – and your approach . Funny that .

Constantly flouting BCC rules and place bins on the street. Council will fine you if you have a bin on the street, and I’m sure it’ll be the homeowner that cops it, not Speedy. They know the rules, they just think they don’t apply to them. Just do the right thing and either get a permit and put in on the footpath, or take the waste away immediately – like we all have to do.

Customers often don’t know the BCC rules but bin companies do… your drivers have a responsibility of NOT dropping the bins on the streets or roads – there is no BCC permit that allows that to happen. Your management team needs to let all of your drivers know this.

As previously discussed, your online order selected cash on delivery as the payment method. Our online conditions note that bins are delivered throughout the day rather than at a set time. When our driver arrived onsite, the cash was not readily available. The driver waited approximately 16 minutes for your husband to return with the cash, but due to other scheduled jobs, was unable to wait any longer.
You then spoke with our office and provided a credit card over the phone. Unfortunately, our banking service was temporarily unavailable at that time, and the bin was left onsite in good faith. Once service was restored, the card was attempted multiple times over the following days but was declined. Our office should have contacted you to advise of this. This was an oversight on our behalf. During peak periods such as Christmas, it is not uncommon for payments to take a few days to clear, and our usual process is to retry the card during that time. As the pick up date was listed in January the team did not chase you.
When you contacted us on Wednesday requesting pickup, you were advised that the order had not been paid for and that the pickup date selected on your online order was in January. You were also informed that payment is required prior to pickup and that, due to peak season and high demand, availability was limited. We have used Speedy Bins for our last 6 renovations over the last 14 years, until now, they have always been excellent to deal with. We are on our third bin of this reno, first bin got collected fine, second full bin couldn’t be picked up due to lack of drivers for various reasons, but they managed to drop off another empty one.., we even had to get another bin company who delivered a concrete only bin, to move the full speedy bin out of the way so she could access the area needed to dump hers, I rang speedy and spoke directly to Mike, the owner, who explained that they had a few drivers off hence running behind schedule on pick up of full bins.., he assured me that he would arrange whatever I needed to get it sorted.., so I confirmed with him that I had arranged concrete bin to be gone Monday so they had access to their bin first thing Tuesday, Mike said it would be the first one for collection.., so up at 6am to open gates and move the car.., still no collection at 8am so rang Speedy only to be told that nothing was scheduled for collection at our address and they were fully booked for today. Prior to speaking to Mike on Friday (today is Tuesday) my partner had also arranged for the bin to be collected first thing Tuesday morning.., so after two confirmed ‘first thing Tuesday morning’ bookings, to have ‘nothing scheduled for today..’ when we have a building site with other trades coming and limited access, is not acceptable. Awaiting a call from the owner!

The 30 days for 7 days hire was fantastic. It gave that little bit of extra time to organise everything that needed to go. Once full, a simple phone call and they came to pick it up within a couple of days. Great service at reasonable prices… I will be hiring again in the future.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The driver who picked up our bin was nothing but negligent. He knew his truck was not big enough to lift the required weight however he proceeded to do so and completely damaged our driveway. Neither Speedy Bins or Insurance wants to take responsibility and fix the problem so we are now left with thousands of dollars of damage and no accountability. When we raised our concern with the receptionist she simply just apologised and said she will speak to the driver. We are now left with thousands of dollars of damage that will be coming out of our pocket, all due to the negligence of one driver who admitted it would be too heavy but proceeded to lift the bin, resulting in sinking, dislodging and even smashing a great portion of our paved driveway. The next driver who came (with a heavier truck) was appalled at the work of his colleague. But again nothing was done to rectify the situation.

Whilst we take every care, our suitably licensed skip truck drivers cannot be responsible for the structural integrity of driveways or sub soil conditions/ground. We do have trucks of different size – so we can meet the various site conditions we encounter. Sometimes very heavy materials are put into a skip bin and a certain size truck is required to lift a heavy bin. We are not specifically aware of your incident, so if you would like to contact us to discuss further you are welcome to do so on 1300 550 442. If you want your pipes broken call Speedy Bins! Some might say that checking where pipes are before you roll up on a nature strip is common sense however, not for these guys, they're a special kind of stupid. 🤯 Interestingly it was delivered without even having to use the nature strip at all + other bins by more reputable businesses have been delivered and collected without incident however, the revolting male who collected it insisted it "absolutely could not be done" and was rude and aggressive. We've alerted our contractor who ordered the skip (and provided video evidence) and we'll be sending you the bill – cheers!

If they deliver bins the way they drive on the road i wouldn't recommend. Complete fool shouldn't be allowed on the road.
